Welcome to Talk Climbing - the new home of Climbing on the web. The site is currently under development but we are proud to say that the guide to Climbing is up and available.
Climbing isn't for the faint hearted but for those who are interested in the sport then we have you covered. Gill Howard has put together a detailed guide to the activity so you can find out all about the different types and techniques of Climbing, also if the guide has helped stoked up your interest then there is a section dedicated to helping you get started.
Terms & Techniques
Some of the terminology used in Climbing can be confusing but here at Talk Climbing we have your back with the terms section of our guide. So if you don't know your Carabiner from your Crux then you know where to go.
Some of the techniques as well might sound complicated. Edging, Chimneying, Bridging, Laybacking and more, if that has all gone above your head then don't worry, just check the guide.
If all this has interested you in Climbing then check out the getting started page and that will hopefully point you in the right direction.
